VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
