Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.
