This present life is naught but a diversion and a sport; surely the Last Abode is Life, did they but know. 64 And so, when they embark on a ship [and find themselves in danger,] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone; but as soon as He has brought them safe ashore, they [begin to] ascribe to imaginary powers a share in His divinity: 65 that they may be ungrateful for what We have given them, and take their enjoyment; they will soon know! 66 Have they not seen that We have appointed a sanctuary secure, while all about them the people are snatched away? What, do they believe in vanity, and do they disbelieve in God's blessing? 67 And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or cries lies to the truth when it comes to him? What, is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 68 As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good. 69
