O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters, as well as all [other] believing women, that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public]: this will be more conducive to their being recognized [as decent women] and not annoyed. But [withal,] God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace! 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the agitators in the city do not desist, We shall most certainly set you over them, then they shall not be your neighbors in it but for a little while; 60 Accursed, they would be seized wherever found, and slain mercilessly. 61 Such has been the way of Allah with those who have passed before them, and you shall find no change in the ways of Allah. 62 People ask you concerning the Hour, say: "The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What do you know? It may be that the Hour is near!" 63 Allah has indeed cursed the disbelievers, and has kept prepared for them a blazing fire. 64 In which they will remain forever; in it they will find neither a protector nor any supporter. 65 On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His messenger! 66 And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path; 67 Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse. 68
