Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
HA MIM. 1 The sending down of the Book is from God, the All-mighty, the All-wise. 2 Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the means of subsistence which God sends down from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the circulation of the winds: [in all this] there are signs for people who use their reason. 5 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe? 6 Woe to each sinful dealer in Falsehoods: 7 who hears God's messages when they are conveyed to him, and yet, as though he had not heard them, persists in his haughty disdain! Hence, announce unto him grievous suffering 8 And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty. 9 Hell is after them; and what they have earned will not benefit them at all, nor those whom they have chosen as supporters besides Allah; and for them is a terrible punishment. 10 This [Qur'an] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature. 11
