The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 By the Promised Day! 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
God the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
