And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
