The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
