Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay, would that you knew with certainty of knowledge (what your attitude will lead to, you would never have acted the way you do). 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: Hoarding (Al-Takaathur). Sent down in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
