It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate! 92
