Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
