۞ Tell them, (O Prophet): “My servants who have committed excesses against themselves, do not despair of Allah's Mercy. Surely Allah forgives all sins. He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Turn towards your Lord and obey Him before the punishment comes upon you when you will not be helped. 54 “And follow this, the best among all, which has been sent down towards you from your Lord, before the punishment comes suddenly upon you whilst you are unaware.” 55 Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers." 56 Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allah had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2)." 57 Or, lest when it sees the punishment should say: 'O that I might return, and be among those that did good' 58 Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers. 59 On the Day of Resurrection you shall see that the faces of those who had lied against Allah have turned dark. Is Hell not vast enough to provide a room to the vainglorious? 60 God would rescue those who fear Him (and guide them) to places of safety. Neither will evil touch them nor regret. 61 God is the creator of all things, and He is the guarantor of all things. 62 His are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; and (as for) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah, these it is that are the losers. 63
