And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
