It is He who has made the earth submissive to you. Walk about in its land and eat of His provision. To Him is the Resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you, the while it rocks? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in heaven will not send against you a whirlwind to pelt you with stones, so that you will know how [true] My warning was? 17 Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror! 18 Do they not see the birds above them spreading and closing their wings? None save the Merciful sustains them. Surely, He observes all things. 19 Or who is this that shall be a host for you to help you, apart from the All-merciful? The unbelievers are only in delusion. 20 Or, who is it that shall provide for you if He withholds His provision? Yet they persist in arrogance and aversion. 21 Will he find the way who grovels flat on his face, or he who walks straight on the right path? 22 (Muhammad), say, "It is God who has brought you into being and made ears, eyes, and hearts for you, but you give very little thanks". 23 Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered." 24 And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" 25 Say: 'The knowledge is with God; I am only a clear warner.' 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say: He is the Beneficent. In Him we believe and in Him we put our trust. And ye will soon know who it is that is in error manifest. 29 Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" 30
