The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
