WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 Downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
