Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
