▼ 21 The Prophets
Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
Whosoever worketh righteous works, and he is a believer, there shall be no denial of his endeavour; and We are for him the Writers. 94 It is ordained that no nation We have destroyed shall ever rise again, 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose, and begin swooping from every mound, 96 And the true promise shall draw nigh, then lo! the eyes of those who disbelieved shall be fixedly open: O woe to us! surely we were in a state of heedlessness as to this; nay, we were unjust. 97 (They will be told): "Verily you and the gods you worshipped beside Allah are the fuel of Hell. All of you are bound to arrive there. 98 If those [false objects of your worship] had truly been divine, they would not have been destined for it: but [as it is, you] all shall abide therein!" 99 Therein breathing out with deep sighs and roaring will be their portion, and therein they will hear not. 100 But for those whom We had decided to favour with good reward, they shall be kept far removed from Hell. 101 They will not even hear the slightest sound from it while enjoying the best that they can wish for in their everlasting life. 102 The supreme awesomeness [of the Day of Resurrection] will cause them no grief, since the angels will receive them with the greeting: "This is your Day [of triumph - the Day] which you were promised!" 103 The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 (Muhammad), We have sent you for no other reason but to be a mercy for mankind. 107 Say: "It is revealed to me that your God is only One God. Will you, then, submit to Him?" 108 But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised. 109 Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal. 110 And I know not but that this may be a trial for you, and enjoyment for a while. 111 He saith: my Lord! judge Thou with truth. And our Lord is the Compassionate Whose help is to be sought against that which ye utter. 112
God the Almighty always says the truth.
