The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit of His command upon whomsoever He will among His servants, saying: Give you warning that there is no God but I; so fear you Me! 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)! 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all. 9
