And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
