Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
