Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
