And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
