Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3

Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
