[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. 55 "And as for those who are bent on denying the truth, I shall cause them to suffer a suffering severe in this world and in the life to come, and they shall have none to succour them; 56 And as to those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them fully their rewards; and Allah does not love the unjust. 57 This is what We recite to you, [O Muhammad], of [Our] verses and the precise [and wise] message. 58 Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was. 59 This is the truth from your Lord; be not, then, among those who doubt. 60 And if anyone should argue with you about this [truth] after the knowledge you have received, say to them, "Come! Let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray earnestly and invoke the curse of God upon the liars. 61 This is indeed the truthful narration. There is no god except Allah. It is Allah who is the Almighty, the Wise. 62 But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. 63
