The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER those [stars] that rise only to set, 1 By the angels who release with gentle release. 2 And those who glide swimmingly, 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 The day the convulsive (first blast) shatters convulsively 6 to be followed by further [convulsions], 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 and eyes will be humbly cast down. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 "Even after we are crumbled bones?" 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 and then, lo, they will be fully awakened [to the truth]! 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 And say, "Hast thou the will to purify thyself; 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 Then he went back hastily. 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Most surely there is in this a lesson to him who fears. 26
