Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

We sent it [Quran] down on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months: 3 In it descend the angels and Jibreel, by the command of their Lord – for all works. 4 Peace it is, till the rising of dawn. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
