The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
