Thorns (Al-Masad)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
