▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
