Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
