Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
