Al-Ankaboot 6 of 7
Say thou: Allah sufficeth for witness between me and you: He knoweth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. And they who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, those: they shall be the losers. 52 They ask you to hasten in bringing chastisement upon them. Had there not been an appointed term for it, the chastisement would have already visited them; in fact it will come down upon them all of a sudden (at its appointed time) while they will not be aware of it. 53 They want you to hasten the punishment: Hell will indeed surround the unbelievers. 54 On the Day the punishment shall cover them from above them and from beneath their feet, He shall say: 'Taste now what you were doing' 55 My servants who believe, My earth is vast, so worship Me alone. 56 Every soul shall taste death, and to Us you shall be returned. 57 Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers, 58 such men as are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 59 And how many an animal there is that beareth not its own provision! Allah provideth for it and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knower. 60 If you ask them: 'Who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?' They will say: 'Allah'; How perverted they are! 61 God increases the means of those of His creatures as He please, or limits them for whomsoever He will. He is certainly cognisant of everything. 62 And if you ask them who it is that sends down water from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death, they will surely answer, "God." Then praise be to God. But most of them do not understand. 63

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
