And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
