Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 they who give the lie to this divine writ and [thus] to all [the messages] with which We sent forth Our apostles [of old]? But in time they will come to know [how blind they have been: they will know it on Judgment Day,] 70 When shackles will be on their necks and also chains; they will be dragged. 71 In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame]. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers. 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 Before your time We sent other messengers: of them there are some whose story We have related to you, and some whose story We have not related to you. It was not [possible] for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of God: but when the command of God was issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice. There and then, those who stood on falsehoods perished. 78
