Surely We have sent down the Koran on thee, a sending down; 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 Meditate upon the name of your Lord morning and evening; 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 Those people [who are unmindful of God] aspire for immediate gains, and put behind them a Heavy Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement. 28 Verily this is an Exhortation; so let him who so will take a way to his Lord. 29 And you do not please except that Allah please, surely Allah is Knowing, Wise; 30 He admits to His Mercy whomsoever He pleases. As for the wrong-doers, He has prepared for them a grievous chastisement. 31
