Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
