The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
