Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 who show off, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
