What keeps people from belief that guidance has come to them, but they question, "Why has God sent a mortal Messenger?" 94 Say: If there were in the earth angels walking secure, We had sent down for them from heaven an angel as messenger. 95 Tell them: "God is sufficient witness between me and you, for He knows His creatures well, and is well-informed." 96 Whomsoever God guides, he is rightly guided; and whom He leads astray -- thou wilt not find for them protectors, apart from Him. And We shall muster them on the Resurrection Day upon their faces, blind, dumb, deaf; their refuge shall be Gehenna, and whensoever it abates We shall increase for them the Blaze. 97 Such will be their requital for having rejected Our messages and having said, "After we will have become bones and dust, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead in a new act of creation?" 98 ۞ Do they not see that Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth is Able to create people similar to them, and has set a term for them in which there is no doubt? So the unjust do not accept without being ungrateful. 99 Say, "Had you owned the treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, you would have locked them up for fear of spending them.
