The food of the Zakkum tree 43 The food of sinners. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
