Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 Till an appointed term, 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
