The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 "So fear Allah and obey me. 179 And I ask of you no wage for it; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 And weigh with the true balance. 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said: You are only of those deluded; 185 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do." 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191
