The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
