Nay! By the moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 a warning to mortal man 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 concerning the sinners, 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
