Verily We bestowed the Book upon Moses. So entertain no doubt if (the Prophet Muhammad) received the same. We had made that Book a guidance for the Children of Israel, 23 And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 [But] can, then, they [who deny the truth] learn no lesson by recalling how many a generation We have destroyed before their time? [people] in whose dwelling-places they [themselves now] walk about? In this, behold, there are messages indeed: will they not, then, listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 They say: "When will this decision be, if ye are telling the truth?" 28 Say thou: on the day of the Decision their belief will not profit those who have disbelieved; nor will they be respited. 29 Wherefore turn aside thou from them, and await; verily they are awaiting. 30
