۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” – 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, order us for polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islamic Monotheism and from every good deed]." 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). 31 So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring. 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 Verily when it was said unto them: there is no god but Allah, they ever grew stiff-necked. 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 'No indeed; but he brought the truth, and confirmed the Envoys. 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,- 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity, 42 in the Gardens of Bliss, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 wherein no sickness is, neither intoxication; 47 And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes, 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 They will turn to one another with questions: 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 He will say, "Would you [care to] look?" 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 But for Allah's favour, I should be one of those who have been mustered here. 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 "Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise)." 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell. 68 They had indeed found their forefathers astray. 69 So they in their footsteps are rushing. 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 and We sent among them warners; 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74
