And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
