Al-Shooraa 4 of 5
Whatever misfortune befalls you is a consequence of your deeds; yet He forgives much. 30 You are not able to frustrate Him in the earth, nor do you have a guardian and a helper other than Allah. 31 And of His Signs are the ships that sail in the sea like mountains. 32 He could stop the wind if He pleased, then they would be stranded on its surface. Surely there are signs in this for every one who perseveres and is grateful. 33 He may, while forgiving much of the sins of those that ride these ships, drown them on account of some of their misdeeds. 34 And for those who dispute regarding Our signs to realise; that they do not have a place to escape to. 35 So whatever you have been given is but a passing enjoyment for this worldly life, but that which is with Allah (Paradise) is better and more lasting for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and put their trust in their Lord (concerning all of their affairs). 36 and who shun the more heinous sins and abominations; and who, whenever they are moved to anger, readily forgive; 37 who respond to their Lord and attend to their prayers; who conduct their affairs by mutual consultation and spend out of what We have provided for them; 38 who, when a wrong is done to them, seek its redress. 39 The recompense for evil will be equivalent to the deed. He who pardons (the evil done to him) and reforms himself, will receive his reward from God. God certainly does not love the unjust. 40 Yet indeed, as for any who defend themselves after having been wronged - no blame whatever attaches to them: 41 The blame is only against those who wrong people, and are wrongfully insolent in the earth, for them there is a painful punishment. 42 But indeed if any show patience and forgive, that would truly be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs. 43

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
