Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
